Our inexcusable mandate to go forward and Preach
Discussion: in our last discussion, we discussed about how we are saved to save, and how God called Moses to go and deliver Israel out of bondage, today we are continuing to see Moses' action after that Divine revelation, today we want to see Our inexcusable mandate to go forward and Preach.
Moses after receiving the mandate to go and deliver Israel, he was reluctant and started to give excuse, these same excuses are common to believers today and this has made many to neglect the great commission mandate given in Mark 16:15 and Matthew 28:19,20.
What are the excuses?
-They will not believe me
(Exodus 4:1-9 )
Solution:
1. Exodus 4:2 What is in your Hand? A Bible, it contains the testimonies for their salvation
2. Exodus 4:6,7 Lay your hands on the sick among them, and they shall Recover
3. Exodus 4:9 show them Jesus the Living water by the way you live, by preaching constantly to them, out of you shall flow the river of Living water to them and this will cause a change in them the Blood will cleanse their iniquity, and they will be amazed
-I am not eloquent (Exodus 4:10-12)
Solution:
1. Exodus 4:11 Who made the dumb? Can he not make thee speak? Ask of me and I will do it, what us your limitation, pray to God and the limitation will be taken away but while it us still there go.
2. Exodus 4:12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
-Who will go with me? Exodus 4:13
Solution
1 there is a Brother in the church, a saved Brother at your work.. That can go with you.
2 God will Go with you.
What has been your excuse in the past, come to Jesus and explain to him, he will not excuse you or have you excused, but he will make a way for you.
Challenge: You have no excuse for ignoring sinners, when you can preach to them
Prayer: Lord take away my Limitation.
