Turned away from the beautiful gate

 This song is a warning to believers lest, what Jesus said Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity" comes to pass in our lives, it is a reminder that we should come alive and according to Isaiah 52:2 Shake thyself  from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion, the dust of sin that has come upon us while men Slept, and has held us captive, making us inactive and a captive.
Have we started to think of going back to the world, the things of the world are gaining our attention that we cannot do the will of God, are we already a captive of sin? the solution is to come back home, Jesus is calling, remember he said I stand at the door and knock, yes again he has come our way and he is knocking, will he knock in vain again, will we turn our savior away, remember tomorrow might be Just too Late.
  If we fall to this category Isaiah has a cure he says in Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon, God is calling today he says in  Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
This is the song:
1.        Someone will knock at the saints’ bright home,
And hear the Lord saying, “You cannot come;”
With sadness he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state,
Turned away from the beautiful gate.
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
With sadness he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state,
Turned away from the beautiful gate.
 Yes you cannot come into heaven with sin in your life, you cannot gain entrance at the beautiful gate with defilement in your heart, you need Jesus while you are here, to wash away your sin and make you whole again else you will be turned away from the Beautiful gate. Now while the door of mercy is open to you, will you repent and say Jesus I come to you!
But oh what a weeping and wailing when the lost was told of his fate, he wished he had repented but now it was too late for his fate has been determined, the soul that sinneth it shall die.
2.       Someone will hear the angels’ song,
And wish he could join with the happy throng;
With sighing he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state,
Turned away from the beautiful gate.
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
With sadness he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state,
Turned away from the beautiful gate.
 He who have heard of heaven, and passionately desired to get there but along the line he fell and like Judas now say give me 30 piece of ... and I will betray Jesus. The 30 piece might be wife, husband, job, partnership, lie, hypocrisy, theft, whatever the sin, it might be well covered but remember Jesus knows the secret, and he is the coming Judge who will judge the secret of men. On that day he who took the 30 pieces will desire to join in the kingdom but will sigh and mourn over their sorrowful state when he discover his name is not in the book of life.
3.        Someone will stand with an aching heart,
While Jesus pronounces the word “depart;”
With groanings he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state,
Turned away from the beautiful gate.
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
With sadness he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state,
Turned away from the beautiful gate.
Yes he’ll groan when he hears depart! I know you not, Ye workers of iniquity. For though he has worked zealously for God on earth, yet his life was eaten up by the little foxes, of unconfessed sins, anger, bitterness, unforgiving spirit, and more. Despite all the zeal yet just this little foxes spoiled his vine, oh how he will cry in that day when he hears Depart!
4.        Someone will linger with tearful eyes,
While Christ and his people ascend the skies,;
With weeping he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state,
Turned away from the beautiful gate.
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
With sadness he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state,
Turned away from the beautiful gate.
Jesus is coming again! This is what makes the believers Glad, but to him who was left behind, the beginning of sorrows without end, I’ve missed the rapture! He’ll cry, with no one to cheer him up, for all is in pandemonium, Thought of “I wished I had known”, will leave his eyes wet with tears, he will desire the days of mercy could be extended, then, he fain would have cried his heart out till he obtain the salvation from God, but since its too late after the rapture he’ll cry and cry but he is lost forever…
5.        Someone will go into darkness drear,
Far off from the Saviour and all that’s dear;
With anguish he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state,
Turned away from the beautiful gate.
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
With sadness he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state,
Turned away from the beautiful gate.
Jude says that for him “is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever” for he; “defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.” “have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core”
6.       Someone will enter the door of hell,
And hear the sad wailing no tongue can tell;
With horror he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state;
Turned away from the beautiful gate.
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
Turned away from the beautiful gate,
With horror he’ll mourn o’er his sorrowful state;
Turned away from the beautiful gate.

Then just before the gates, the wailing and groaning of souls gone ahead to the depth of darkness will remind him, of the horror he was told of hell, and then, the reality now dawns on him, that he is facing eternity without end.
He has got no hope again, but friend you’ve got one, for if you confess you sins God is faithful and Just to forgive you all your trespasses, you will be forgiven no matter how sinful you have been. Jesus is today the Savior and slain lamb who will be the Righteous Judge, and Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
Take action friend, what do you need to do, do you need to repent, rededicate your life to Jesus, or restitute your ways with someone you’ve wronged? Do something now, and do it Fast!
