Topic: According to pattern

Text: Exodus 24, 25, 26,  27

Key text: Exodus 25:40  And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

Discussion: The key text summaries the aim of this topic "According to Pattern",  God has a standard,  which he requires that we follow  strictly,  he prohibits the act of disobedience,  and disorderliness,  hence the  reason why we want to look into scriptures and see  the Pattern he has  given  that we might live a life well pleasing to him.

Pattern of Obedience,  God expects total Obedience,  and that we can also see in the response of Israel to the word of God in Exodus 24:3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.

Pattern of Patience: God expects us to be patient, we should not  be in a hurry  to  leave his presence,  when God Called Moses he was there six days,  butcher on the seventh that was when God spoke to him, watching a lesson  for us that many times we miss God's plan by impatience,  Let us therefore abide and tarry in his Presence that we might be blessed.

Exodus 24:16  And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

Pattern in Giving: God expects us to follow  the pattern  that is laid down in Exodus 25:2  Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.
And that is the pattern of heart willfulness in giving,  grudgingly or as a Matter of compulsion.

Pattern of Building for God: when we are building a sanctuary,  God expects us to build  to his Glory and if we will achieve  this we must build according to his instructions.
Exodus 25:8-9  And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

Finally,  God has a pattern for all we do and his  pattern is revealed  in the scriptures,  we therefore must ensure,  that we follow,  his patterns as revealed to us in scriptures and as we do our lives will glorify God and he will continue to shower his blessings  upon us.

Challenge: is your life Glorify God: being according to God's pattern or does it exalt Satan,  being according  to the worldly pattern.

Prayer: Show me your will for my life that I may live my Life according  to  the  Pattern
