Topic: The Man,  His Mantle,  and Ministry

Text: Exodus 28,29,30

Key text: Exodus 28:36  And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

Discussion: as we come to Christ,  there is a demand he place on us, for which he made available all that is required.,  and this we can find in Matthew 5:48  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

God's demand from every generation is holiness and perfection we look at the three fold topic we want to see how God demands holiness from us,  in life,  interaction and service.

The Man God  Uses.
Before we can be used of God,  we must be ready ourselves,  there are some things that must have happened, in us
1) - we must be willing Exodus 29:1
2) - we must be washed Exodus 29:4
3) - we will be anointed Exodus 29:7

The Mantle of Glorious service.
For service to be acceptable there is need for us to be clothed with the Garment of  holiness, humility, and Love, the Garment of the new testament Christian will include:
1) -  Intercession Exodus 28:29
2) -  Breastplate of Faith, Love,  and Righteousness and Holiness 1 Thessalonians 5:8  Ephesians 6:14  Exodus 28:4, 36
3) -  Glory, and Beauty Exodus 28:2, 5. Isaiah 60:7  Romans 8:30

The Ministry office
The ministering office of the minister is expected to be a place of sacrifice offering, sweet Smelling savour unto God continually. Thus the ministry here is not that public Ministry but the private life of the minister, this private life  should be a place of:
1) - Perpetual consistent and closer walk with God Exodus 30:8
2) - Pure and Clean Conscience,  and services unto God.  Exodus 30:9
3) -  Purging and Cleansing from  defilement of the world.  Exodus 30:10

In conclusion,  our Christian life is expected to be a glorious Life,  such that is pleasing to God, for we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 1 Peter 2:9

Challenge: You are the light of the world, does your life reflect Christ?

Prayer: Fit me for your service, and Heaven above, Lord
