COME NOW

Topic: COME NOW!

Text: Isaiah 1:18-20

  Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

This Morning, we are charging ourselves with the topic Come Now!  And as we consider this charge, there are 2 questions we'll consider.

1. Where art thou?
2. Why not now?

1. Where art thou?

This was God's call to Adam after Adam  disobeyed, God came searching for him like the Shepherd seeking the one lost sheep,

You are precious before God and he is not will to let go of you to the hands of the wicked, hence this Morning he comes searching for you saying where art thou?

You have been fervently following Christ before now, but things have change, and Christ is knocking at the door of your heart saying where art thou?

You have not gone into outright sin, but now your heart is far from God, and he is calling you this Morning where art thou? Come Now!

2. Why not now?

You have heard him call severely, but you said not today, till I have a convenient time and thus, the door of Grace is getting shut by the day. Why not now.

Why not now, you think you have more time? Look upon the field for they are white already for harvest, many in Hell are wailing, the Harvest is past and we were not saved, they thought they had more time, but suddenly, they met their death unprepared for eternity.

Why not now, while the door of his mercy is open, why not Repent now! Why not restore your first love now! Why not weep and regain your consecration!
Why not now, Tomorrow might be too late!

O why not accept His salvation
And throw off your burden of sin?

4 Why do your wait, dear brother?
The harvest is passing away;
Your Savior is longing to bless you,
There's danger and death in delay.

*Prayer: * Lord Jesus, I Come, I am Sorry for all the time I lingered, have mercy on me!
