Our Deliverance from Slavery for Great Salvation

Text: Isaiah 10-12
Focus: Isaiah 10:27

"And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing."

Talking about the anointing for our deliverance, it is sourced in Christ, through the Holy Spirit, from God the father. That's why Luke recorded in Acts 10:38

"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him."

Today, as we come to study, God is revealing to us, his purpose, his will and desire: to deliver us from our burdens and  yoke and to put upon us his Spirit, his Peace and his Praise.

However, we need to consider, what our situation at present is, so we could approach the throne of Grace and obtain appropriate help from the rock of our Salvation: JESUS CHRIST.

Here the Israelites were in bonds, for their iniquity: hypocrisy (Isaiah 10:6) and Idolatry (Isaiah 10:11). The same way today, sin enslaves many and has brought divers burden and yokes to the lives of many.

Noteworthy also Is how God promised to purnish the oppressors of the Israelites, because of thier pompous nature, thinking by their might they brought Israelites under their captivity.

Proverbs 16:18 says:
"Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall."

However, it shall come to pass in that day...
The question then is: which day?
The day of repentance (2 Chronicles 7:14), the day of restoration is the day of repentance, that's why Jesus warned, so that we do not think deliverance is automatic he said in Luke 13:3
"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

Repentance is the key to recovery, some may wonder, but I have been born again, I repented of my sins and I am a Child of God, why have I not experienced this recovery?

It might be you need to repent of your unbelieve or lack of action toward achieveing the desired breakthrough.

After repentance, we have the promise of recovery, and replenishing.

Isaiah 11:2-3: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

After repentance we have a promise of Peace in the midst of peril and danger:

Isaiah 11:8-9  And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

After Recovery, we shall have the Praise of God in our lips:

Isaiah 12:1  And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

After Recovery there would be singing

Isaiah 12:5  Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Today's  study shows us the path from sinfulness and its sorrows to Solution and singing, I enjoin you to take this path today, and the Lord will give you a bew song of gladness in Jesus name! Amen!

CHALLENGE: Are you on the path to recovery, if not, why not? It is just a prayer away
