1)  The Powerful God of the new era

 God has always proved his all powerful might, in the life of men, he is mighty to save, in verse 25 of our text, he revealed to us his saving power when he said, “I, even I, am he that blots out your transgression for mine own sake” this is revealing to us that he is a powerful to save, he save for his own sake, for the sake of his holiness, not our own righteousness, it is for the sake of the work he has done for us, not as a result of our own labour, but for the sake of himself sending his only begotten son to die for us, it is for the sake of his love to man whom he has created, and he is saying (in verse 18), now that I have taken away your transgression, “remember ye not the former things neither,  consider the things of old.” All the sin in time past, forget them and open your eyes to see what I can do, “behold I will do a new thing…” he is ready to do a new thing in your life, in your ministry, in all areas of your life, but you need to acknowledge his power that is why he started to introduce himself as the one who created you. (In verse 1), he is your creator, he has great power, he is able to save, he can deliver he is your king he is your supply. Let us quickly summarize the power of God in the passage we have read.
i.        Creating Power (verse 1,7) “but now thus saith the lord that created thee..”, the lord is making you to know that he is the one who has created you out of his great power he formed you and the purpose of creating you is to show forth his glory “…for I have created him for my glory” you will show forth God’s Glory in Jesus name
ii.      Redeeming Power (verse 1) “…for I have redeemed thee,…” he is promising to redeem you from all your woes in this new era, even he said “…therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life
iii.    Protecting Power (verse 2) as you begin this new era God is saying        when you pass through the waters of life, he will be with you and you would not be drown, when all that happens around you look like fire he is promising that has he was with shadrach meshach and abed-nego in the flame and they felt no hurt he will be with you, and you shall not be hurt, so fiery situation will not burn you rather you will come out of the situation triumphant in Jesus name, also this promise of God is assuring us that you will not loose your property to fire, you will not loose your life to fire he will be there to protect to protect you.
iv.     Salvation Power (verse 3,11,25) “for I am the lord thy God,…thy Savior…” He says he is your lord, your God and your Savior, and says
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake and will not remember thy sins.”(Isaiah 43:25)
Meaning that as a Lord, GOD and savior He has washed away your sins and as counted you as one who has no sin. His salvation power will reach out to you today if you have not received it before in Jesus name.
v.       Prospering Power (verse 4-7) “since thou wast precious in my sight, thou has been honorable...” He is making you honorable and prosperous, seed will be raised to you from the east to the west, for your sake the north will give up and for your sake the south will not keep back.
vi.    Solution Power (verse 1) He is a God with mighty power, he gives solution where there seem to bee no way, He is the one “…which maketh a way in the mighty waters…” this is the era of new exploit way
vii.  Glorifying Power (verse 21,7) “… I have created him for my glory…” he is saying that he has created you for his Glory, and my prayer is that your life will show the glory of God this new era.
After we have been able to see the power of God we need to understand that this power can work on you if yield to the call for a new era, so let us go to point 2.
