POINT 1 - THE LORD IS NOT GIVING UP ON YOU

 

1)                  THE DESIRABLE END OF THE FAITHFUL.

The righteous shall flourish…(Psalm92:7) this can be said concerning the end of these two men, because when Jesus expounded the scriptures to them they both believed and their minds were enlightened, …and they sat to eat, after Jesus had blessed and broken it then gave to them, their eyes were open…(Luke 24:30) and they could realize their foolishness not to have been able to know that it was Jesus. Once their eyes were opened they became so over-joyous and had to go back to Jerusalem to share with them their encounter with Jesus. There is always a joy that comes with Faith in the saving faith and allowing Jesus to cleanse us from sin. This is what happened that made Samaria to be filled with joy when Philip preached in Samaria, this same reason was why the Samaritan woman left her water pot and went to tell the people about her experience, which when they heard they also said now we believed not because you told us but we have seen for ourselves Christ has the power to bring Joy into the life of Anybody he is ready to do it for as many as will come.

For as many as will come they will have the Psalm 1:1-6 experience, this is because when you come unto Christ you are connected to the source of all sufficiency, like the tree planted by the rivers of water.
