NEWNESS IN A NEW ERA

Focus:  Isaiah 43

Key Verse: Isaiah 43:19 “behold I will do a new thing…”

Welcome to this new year in Jesus name, the passage we read is telling us of the plan the lord is having for us as we begin this new era, what he is promising us this time is newness in this new era, despite the various happening that is surrounding us everywhere in the past, what he is saying to us is that there is something new he wants to do for us in this new era that is beginning in our life, that is why he said  “behold I will do a new thing…” Isaiah 43:19 he is saying; the weeping of the past is over, the poverty of the past is over, and “…behold I will do a new thing…” that is why in verse 18 he said, “remember ye not the former things neither,  consider the things of old.” He is telling you all those problem of the past, let them go with the past, he is starting with you something new, do not consider your suffering of the past, all those let them go with the past and let the new beginning start in your life today for “behold I will...” this is to tell you that he is the God that will do it, he is not relying on someone to do it for you, he is able to do it, but you will have to forget the pains and those things of the past, and now he wants you to put on a new confidence in the all sufficient power of God and then you will see the new thing that God is planning to start with you in Jesus name. let us consider 3 points.

1)      The Powerful God of the new era

2)      The pertinent call to a new era

3)      The possibility of Having it all in the new era
