The pertinent
call to a new era
Isaiah 43:18,19 “Remember ye not the former things, neither
consider the things of old. Behold I
will do a new thing…”
This is a call from God that you should remember not
the former things, those past wrong you forget them and come to answer the call
that God is giving unto you that I will do a new thing, he is saying shall ye not know it? You will know it because whenever you come to
Christ and he does something new in your life it will manifest, you will see
it, but to be able to answer the call to receive from God, he must answer the
call to come… and that is why in this sub topic what we will be taking a look
into are the call that God is giving unto us today.
The call to call
upon the lord the lord is expecting you to call upon him he
said “but thou has not called upon me…”(Isaiah 43: 22) what he wants from you
is that you call upon him and what he wants you to call on him for is found in
verse 25, 26 he wants you to take out of his offer of blotting away you sin so
that you will benefit of the offer of his blessing
The call to
cleansing he
said he has blotted out your transgressions he want you to come and have of
this offer of cleansing because only then can you be acceptable before him,
with your stains of sin you are a filthy rag before God so he wants to cleanse
you and make you clean, he wants the sanctification of your soul.
The call to
commitment in
verse 23 he is saying you have not brought
your burnt offerings and you have not honored him with your sacrifices this is
telling you that as God is calling you into a new era you must call yourself to
commitment of constant service unto the lord in this way you will be presenting
your bodies a living sacrifice holy acceptable before God.
If you are still living in the past life of sin and
filthiness God is calling you to a life of salvation and fruitfulness, to come
into the fullness of this you will have to follow these steps:
1. Accept your sinfulness and admit
that you can’t saved your self
2. Believe that there is power in
the blood of Jesus to save you , saved,
saving, and saves even now
3. Confess your sins to God in
repentance, mention all the sin you can remember and ask for pardon
4. Determine not to return to those
sins and pray for Grace.
5. Pray that Jesus takes over your
life and write your name in the book of life
