Topic: Giving your Best to God.

Text: Exodus 35, 36, 37

Key Text: Exodus 35:5  Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,

Discussion:  today  we will consider the subject of Giving: which is God's  command, and we would see some forms of giving,  and the attitude in Giving.

Divine Imperative to Give:  Giving is God's command,  and it is for the purpose of blessing,  Exodus 35:4-5  "... This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying, take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD... Giving is not  an invention of man,  it is God's  demand, see
a promise that God has for all who gives in Luke 6:38  Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.  But how do  we  Give?

Forms of Giving: there are various forms of giving,  we can give money and valuables as we see in the key verse,  not only that we can give our ability and talent,  as the case of Bezaleel,  and Aholiab,  in our text.

When we want to give we are to: Give unto God,  by giving  to further  the Gospel,  giving to servant of God,  giving of Tithes and Offerings. Give to fellow men as unto God, in arms and by offering of support to the needy and less privileged,

Our Attitude in Giving: when we give our attitude should be that of Willingness, (Exodus 35:29), cheerfulness,  (2 Corinthians 9:7) . and with sacrifice, 2 Samuel 24:24

Challenge: Be a fountain that give,  not a Dam that stinks.

Prayer: Make me a fountain that doesn't cease to give,  nor lack what to give.
