Topic: Our Preparation for his Glory

Text: Exodus 38,39,40

Key Text: Exodus 40:34  Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

Discussion: when God wants to fill anyone with his Glory,  there is a preparation,  that precede that, in the case of Tabernacle in our text,  we can see all the preparation that went into it,  specific instructions that God Gave,  and that is why we want to examine what are some  preparation we have to make to ensure that we are been filled  with the Glory of God when we seek his face for his Glory.

1) Gathering in his Presence: before we can experience the Glory of God we must Connor into his presence, how do we come,  first we come to obtain salvation from sin,  then we continue in his presence through holy living,  living a life that is well pleasing to God,  and for this to be possible God has given a promise,  "my Grace is sufficient for you,"  having obtain salvation,  we can come boldly into the presence of God. That we might be filled with his Glory.

2) Heart preparation: if we will be filled with the Glory of God,  then our Heart must be pure,  and how will this be done,  when we come to his presence,  we present to him our heart  for Purging, he purges us and makes us fit for his Glory.

3) Pray for his Glory,  Moses  prayed and said in Exodus 33:18  "I beseech thee, shew me thy glory." also king Solomon in 2 Chronicles 7:1  Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. Prayer  is what brings God's Glory,  today as you pray your life will be filled with the Glory of God.

Challenge: prayer is what Brings the Glory of God when we come into his Presence with a pure heart.

Prayer: Make me fit,  and fill me with thy Glory.
