At times like these, the heart of men begin to show its deception as recorded in Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
The people called children of God are getting more temptation to get the money that is scarce, and because of this, many are departing from the faith, even though they remain in the Church.
This has however been prophesied, in 1 Timothy 4:1
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Today many are comfortable with collecting bribe from politicians to vote, some even allow the spirt of deception by saying "collect the money and vote your mind", this is also a doctrine of the Devil, we must beware.
A believer doesn’t take bribe to vote and he doesn’t deceive. His yes is yes and his no is no.
It is the duty of a believer to vote whosoever he/she deems fit, considering factors he deems fit, however, he/she should not be seduced or induced by politician's bribe be it in cash or any other form such as promise of position.
As believers, we have the Spirit of God, and we can ask God for direction as to whom to vote.
And this is the part we often live out, which is why we regret our choices 4 years after.
If we all make prayerful choices and refuse to be led by our emotion, we will make the right choice even if the person doesn’t win the election.
The bane of many lies here, they claim, God told them to vote, but their candidate did not win so they will not vote again.
That's wrong!
Refusing to vote is giving the wrong candidate more chances to win, that's wasting opportunities.
When you have done your part, by voting the right person, leave others to do theirs!
As believers waiting for the LORD'S return, we must gaurd our tongues from lies and unverified information, remember, James 1:19:
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
Another aspect is our reaction to provocation: the hardship in the nation may be provoking, but keep your tongue and your heart, don't provoke people, and let not People's words, deed or action provoke you; do a constant check on your fruit of the Spirit, once you seem to loose it, pray it back in, for you know not, what hour your Lord shall come.
Daily examination and purification is very important knowing that we are in the last hour of the lasts days.
And in case you are still committing sin, I plead with you, repent and believe the Gospel, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and start living a Holy life, because Jesus is coming soon, and I don't want you to go from this suffering into suffering of Hell, Jesus Loves you so much that he died for you, and I love you so much I don't want you to go to Hell.
There is mercy and pardon today!
Repent and be Rapture- Ready!
